By using device-freedom.com or buying from us, you agree to these terms.
What you're buying
You are buying a physical reclaimed device, configured with open-source software and verified before shipping. Not a licence. Not a subscription.
Hardware platforms
Devices are built on third-party hardware. Those manufacturers' trademarks remain theirs. DeviceFreedom is not affiliated with or endorsed by any hardware manufacturer.
Where to buy
Sales happen through our eBay store. eBay's buyer protection and payment terms apply to all transactions.
Product availability
We ship to most regions. A small number of countries are excluded for legal or regulatory reasons — exclusions vary by product. If you are unsure whether a specific product ships to your country, ask us before purchasing.
Warranty
All devices come with a 1-year warranty covering hardware defects under normal use. Does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or post-delivery third-party modifications. For software questions, our support team will help — including Return to Stock if needed. Warranty claims: [email protected] with your order number.
Return to Stock
Every device can be restored to original factory firmware at any time. We provide instructions and live support. This never voids your warranty.
DeviceFreedom GC1 and online services
The GC1 ships with open-source software. Some platform network services may not be available depending on the configuration. To use platform network services, restore to stock firmware using the included guide. DeviceFreedom is not responsible for any account actions taken by the platform holder. Use of homebrew software is at your own discretion and risk.
Community and support
Community chat and support are included free with purchase. We may remove access for abusive behaviour or policy violations. This does not affect your hardware warranty.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages where permitted by law.
Intellectual property
The DeviceFreedom name, logo, and site content are ours. Open-source software on devices is governed by its respective licences, available on request.
